Jennifer Anderson

Jennifer has over 12 years experience in economic development, eight years of which have been in consultancy and four years in the public sector. Her experience has given her valuable insight into how the delicate relationship between economic theory and the challenges on the ground has an influence on outcome and success; this has led to a very practical approach in her work.

Her main interest is in the rural economy but she has worked throughout the UK in both urban and rural locations. Her projects have included the creation of new economic frameworks and strategies for communities and industries; the appraisal of proposed infrastructure within an economy such as visitor attractions, transport or educational facilities; and the evaluation of public sector interventions, including food and drink and business development initiatives.

She has also been a speaker at international conferences, predominantly on issues surrounding development at the periphery of Europe.

Anne Cameron

Anne is a freelance economic development professional. Her specialist areas are evaluation, impact analysis and social research.

Anne has a first degree in Applied Economics from the University of Ulster and a masters degree in International Business History from the University of Reading.
